Linn Machinery was established in 2007, to enable client companies within the wood panel and paper manufacturing industries to sell equipment that they no longer required.

After over 30 years of experience in improving operational profit, turning around or relocating manufacturing sites within these sectors, the owner of the business was receiving numerous request to help sell or locate equipment and this is the requirement that Linn Machinery was formed to meet.

The experience of operating at a senior level within these industries for many years has enabled the company to build up an extensive worldwide database of contacts in both the paper and wood panels sectors. Potential clients and customers are continually being added to this database.

What we do

For our clients we provide services to facilitate the sale of equipment that they no longer require. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Assisting to value the assets for sale
• Marketing of the assets around the world
• Assisting with negotiations between the seller and buyer

For our customers we provide services which help them to find the exact equipment they are looking to purchase for current or future projects. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

• E-mail updates as items relevant to their needs become available.
• Regular contact with key representatives of the customer's business.
• Providing the web site listing of available equipment.
• Assisting with negotiations between the seller and buyer

We can also assist by providing additional services to project manage the dismantling and relocation project through our associated company, JM Associates Ltd.
